Started Chemo in June 2011, My hair started to fall out on my second treatment, which wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. Because I am a control freak (so I have been told)I decided to go ahead and shave my head. The Chemo was draining and I gained 15 pounds due to the steroids. My family was so supportive and I felt so blessed to have them. I never had to go to an appointment alone. Someone was always w/me and I needed that because the doctors would tell me info and I wouldn't remember it; so someone was there to take notes that I would read later.
